With Beastie Boy Adam 'MCA' Yauch sidelined with cancer in his throat, the hip hop group was forced to pull out of concert dates, which included their headlining gig at the All Points West festival in Jersey City, N.J., this weekend. Fortunately for them and the fans in attendance, Jay-Z stepped up to fill in, and also led a raucous tribute to the Beasties and Yauch.

Actor Mark Wahlberg and his longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham, who is the mother of three of his children, exchanged vows on Saturday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The couple got married in an small Beverly Hills ceremony with about a dozen people in attendance. In Touch Weekly was the first to report that the couple would exchange vows this weekend.

Alanis Morissette is set to be inducted to the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame on March 8, 2008. The 33-year-old singer will also be honored with a lifetime achievement award.

Morissette's music career began in Canada in 1985 when she released her first single on her own record label with help from a family friend. In 1991 and 1992, she released two dance-pop albums, but made her biggest splash in 1995 when she released the worldwide smash 'Jagged Little Pill.'

Currently Morissette is preparing for the release of her upcoming album, 'Flavors of Entanglement,' as well as gearing up for a spring tour with Matchbox Twenty. In her spare time she is filming a movie based on Philip K. Dick's novel 'Radio Free Albemuth.'

Less than a year after his 2006 comeback album, 'Kingdom Come,' Jay-Z is set to release another CD before the end of '07.

Inspired by (and named after) the upcoming Ridley Scott film 'American Gangster,' the album marks the Hov's first "concept" project. "It was like I was watching the film, putting it on pause, and giving a backstory to the story," Jay-Z said.

The film, starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe, will be in theaters on Nov. 2. Jay-Z's accompanying CD will follow close behind on Nov. 6. Read more.

Not only did Brit-Brit's lawyer up and quit today, but power attorney Gloria Allred revealed that she had a "secret witness" in her arsenal that she believes will cause the fallen pop star to lose her kids. The mystery witness was described as "not famous" and is expected to testify that Spears allegedly used drugs in her home and in front of the children. Yikes. The "mystery" man turned out to be a former bodyguard who had an all-access pass to Spears' springtime whirlwind.
